Handicapped and Disable Association state of Johor(Kluang) is a charitable centre ofHandicapped and Mentally disabled Association of Johor, where the unfortunate disable people live. This organization officially opened on the 16th July, 2008.
In Malaysia, there are many families suffering and struggling to lead a normal life. Parents having problem handicapped and disabled children. The basic objective of this home, helping these people of our beloved country. Our desire is to see this centre rising to greater heights. To help and server more to the handicapped and disable people. There are 22 inmates Malay, Indian, Chinese & other races. 13 males and 12 females, ages from 13 to 72 years old living in this home as residential inmates. Our intention is starting this centre is to help the disable people and provide them shelter and daily needs. We manage to maintain their needs such as food and clothing. A total of 8 including staff and workers are employed for teaching and training of these OKU. A chairman, and officer, a cook, a teacher a nurse, 2 attendant as a day caretakers and two night caretakers. |

Handicapped and Mentally Association state of Johor (Kluang), is situated at No. 2 Jalan Lintang, 86000 Kluang, and Johor. Our neat and clean environment gives a great feel to our inmates and children as well. A TV lounge is located in the middle of premise beside the dormitory areas. A well decorated kitchen with all necessities is available after TV lounge to cater the inmates three times in a day and other times as required. For ON & OFF activities we have two Vans, especially for our medical visits to hospitals and other outdoor activities.
We have professional staff, carefully selected for our occupants, to give them excellent services. We have an experienced Nurse round the clock to look after the inmates, their diet. In daily activities we arrange morning exercise, Class room activities and games to give a touch of very happy and comfortable life inside. Over all we strive to provide and maintain a clean and hygienic living environment. |
